Neuroradiology: Differentials: Intraventricular lesions

Choroid plexus papilloma: rough-irregular surface, atriaof the lateral ventricles, children less than 10 years, homogenous marked enhancement

Meningioma: calcification common, trigone of lateral ventricle, not close to septum pellucidum, strong enhancement, older women

Astrocytoma: calcium +/-, peritumoral edema

Ependymoma: fourth ventricle, peritumoral brain invasion, childhood

Subependymoma: fifth decade, no enhancement

Central neurocytoma: 2-3 decade, lateral ventrcle with 3rd ventricle extension, attaches to septum pellucium, some enhencement, no peritumoral edema or brain invasion, calcium common

Gaint cell astrocytoma: in tuberous sclerosis, at lateral-third ventricle junction

Oligodendroglioma: rare, calcium, brain invasion,
