80 year old lady with weight loss and pain abdomen

One year later, the lady underwent bone scan for backache

Diagnosis:
Paget's disease.

Lesson:
Look at bones carefully in all abdomen radiographs
Paget's is one of the common diseases missed in its early stage on radiograph; apparantly, in most radiographs are the first ones to suggest Paget's disease

is any finding on plain x ray highly suggestive of paget disease. 80% cases are polyostotic , 20 % cases show vertebral enlargement,paraspinal soft tissue or intraspinal soft tissue masses may also seen .
